Yancheng, Jiangsu
1.National Rare Bird Reserve: Releasing Red-Crowned Cranes into the Wild.
The Yancheng Red-Crowned Crane Wetland Ecotourism Area is one of the largest tidal wetland reserves, home to over 450 plant species and rare wildlife like the red-crowned crane. It is a critical migratory stop for birds and a winter habitat for millions of waterbirds.
2.China’s Milu Deer Park: Learning About Milu Deer
Located in the Jiangsu Dafeng Milu National Nature Reserve, this park houses 60% of the world's Milu deer population and holds world records for the largest reserve and gene pool. The reserve is also home to numerous protected species.
3.Wild Deer Swamp: Kayaking to Find Wild Milu Deer
The Huanghai Wild Deer Swamp is part of the Yellow Sea Wetland World Natural Heritage Site, a key migratory point for birds and home to over 300 species of plants.
4.National Yellow Sea Forest Park: Miniature Ecosystem & Outdoor Exploration
The largest coastal plain forest in China, this national park features 652 plant species and is a zero-carbon tourism resort, oering a "green oxygen bar" for visitors.
